Hi there!

I’m a homeschooling mom who loves anything to do with crafts, and thankfully so do my 2 boys.

I may be not be that good at punctuation, spelling or writing…..but don’t worry!  These days the homeschooling curriculum is so easy and step by step that even I can do it.  And the best part is we can schedule our school around numerous beach outings, and living in Hawaii that’s essential!

If you’ve clicked on a few of my posts or scrolled down my homepage you might be thinking my life seems a little different than most. This is true. I have been fortunate enough to be shown the happiness there is in knowing that God (I call Him Krishna) is my best friend and loves me unconditionally. I know he also resides in my heart, and waits for me to love Him.

Going through life knowing I always have my best friend with me, knowing I am always loved and taken care of, experiencing the warmth and peace resulting from this understanding, this is my secret treasure.

This doesn’t mean I’m always in a state of rainbows and butterflies, or that I never feel frustrated or angry, because I’m a moody individual and always on my own rollercoaster ride. But when I’m crashing and burning inside my mind, I know to take a moment and remember who’s in control and watch some of my crazy fly out the window.

My journey of love for God which I travel, is the most enjoyable process that I share with my husband and children. This amazing simple practice of singing God’s Holy Names was passed onto me by my ever well-wisher and best friend, my Gurudev, Siddhaswarupananda Paramahamsa.

So this is what’s happening around here guys; Raising happy kids among the coconut trees, craft sessions, beach visits, singing the names of God, ….. and looking after our beautiful Krishna!
